451. The Weapon Crisis

One of the first spiritual downloads I ever had (essentially a spontaneous, strong knowing) was related to guns, in particular. I realize upon writing this post that… guns are not inherently the only or perhaps even the worst problem afflicting citizens. Of course there are several weapons of mass destruction, including nuclear war. While I do truly believe in the fate and destiny of the universe preventing us, at least for the current moment, annihilating ourselves, realistically, nuclear war is only a drop of a hat away. Perhaps even… on accident.

In this particular download I was just ideating surrounding our apparent obsession with guns. In particular, the concept that some of us are so attached to our weapons that it would be like removing one of our children. How and why could this possibly be the case?

I do truly believe that many people consider guns in particular to be an “extension” of their own power, particularly when they are struggling with a sense of safety. So the removal of a gun, or at least its metaphysical importance, is essentially like an “ego” or identity death. If you were to lose such an inherent part of your safety and security (many people perceive this to be their home, etc.), you may be totally upended or uprooted.

While in many places, the concept of an immediate or death-defying threat is simply not likely, it is strange that some people may perceive that there life is constantly at risk, perhaps even in a paranoia state. I find that people who are constantly afraid of death, not just in a bearing arms ind of way, but perhaps in an apocalyptic kind of way, may be suffering from fear of any kind of death, including ego-ic, emotional, mental or some type of external physical death. In other words, they likely have not made peace with the death cycle, and may be incredibly afraid of change. So when we consider someone who lives in the middle of nowhere to be “nothing” without their guns, we’re really saying that they’re nothing without an additional, or externally localized sense of safety and security, because for whatever reason, they are not inhabiting these energies themselves. It may also be possible that growing up, they did not have a solid safety or security. It’s likely that there may be many different contributions.

I think it’s clear to say that there are certainly threats anywhere/everywhere, and they are real. I do wonder if, perhaps, those who are particularly paranoid about this happening may have an intuitive sense that there could be an apocalyptic or even “violent” shift in their energy, sometime throughout their lifetime. But it’s important to note that this isn’t always physical. There are also, of course, more logical reasons to have hyper-awareness, considering, again, your environment, or perhaps even your history as a person, or any other directed threats against you. Given all that we’ve talked about, I do find it odd, again, that often times those in the world who are in substantial threat, often times do not have the physical means to defend themselves, seemingly on purpose. Perhaps, through metaphysics, their defense mechanism is simply spiritual, mental or emotional. It’s somewhat interesting to think about. It also somewhat makes sense, because often times those who do not have a fully formed emotional or cognitive ability, often times resort to physical means of processing these energies, including violence.

Point being, there are several metaphysical factors which need to be considered when and if we were to ever enforce gun regulations, or perhaps any type of weapon regulations. The truth is, while we may be able to curb gun violence, or at least temporarily, this fear, which ultimately transforms into hate, will continue to be projected onto individuals or the collective by individuals who, again, externally localize their sense of safety, power and control. Removing the guns is of course… not removing the entirety of the problem. This is not to say that gun regulations can’t help. It’s simply pointing out a larger, energetic issue.

So how do we possibly combat this? Well, it’s a tough one. This is primarily due to the fact that weapons, whether it’s for individuals, collectives, or even nations, is their only sense of externally localized power or authority. Inevitably, the energetic entity itself would have to “make up” for the lack of this weaponry through other means. They would need to address why this particular entity is feeling such a lac of power. Is it for obvious reasons, or perhaps, artificial, fear-based reasons? Whatever it may be, this energy will not go away, unless processed. Intimidation as a tactic only serves to heighten fear in other entities, meaning that their response will simply be to retaliate in some way shape or form. It is up to each entity to transmute this fear and not “give in” to a “fake” threat, a belief, or a preconceived notion. It’s a very thin line in terms of defense and protection, as well as embodying such energetic power and control, that in a way, it’s so pervasive, there is no need for aggression, threat or manipulation tactics. However, we often times don’t see it that way. I wonder if it’s because those who are truly in power are never the loudest in the room.
