159. How To Be Infinitely Interesting
I suppose I should rename this, “How To Be Infinitely Interesting… From A Spiritual Perspective”.
I first want to say that being interesting is certainly subjective. And that’s not just to cover the bases. Some people may feel you are the most interesting person in the world, and others exquisitely boring. From a personal standpoint, I’m aware of people who bring out the interest in me, and others who do not. If we claim to have interesting parts of ourselves, but others aren’t interested in that same interest, then… what do we do?
As humans, I feel that we are primarily concerned with physical interests. Whether that’s the food we eat, our exercise routine, or our collectibles. Perhaps even the cars that we drive, or the video games that we play. Everything has a physical output. Perhaps someone may find you interesting if you have a lot of experience, or knowing a lot on a certain topic. But does it ever run dry?
While I’m not personally married, I would have to imagine that telling the same facts, figures and information about a certain subject must become old. Even if said subject continues to evolve over time, it really has a predetermined output. I suppose that you can certainly create “webs”, so for example, if you have an interest in Lady Gaga, you may be able to talk endlessly about her six degrees, her fans, where she’s lived, etc. Therefore extending this “web” and creating an infinite one. But my point sort of carries a similar sentiment.
From a spiritual perspective, I believe that you are infinitely interesting if you continue to change and adapt. While you may be incredibly interesting if you are positioned in a “world” of your own, the information and knowledge may eventually “stop”. But if you continue to learn, change and evolve, you will never have a stop time or an end date.
On top of this, if you use or leverage a level of intuition, you can ultimately channel the thoughts, feelings and emotions of others, even if it’s to a small degree. So theoretically, you can possess the interest of anyone anywhere. How cool.
To sum up, leaning into a physical activity for interest may not give you the interest longevity or duration that you’re looking for. And hey, no one says you have to feel infinitely interesting, so no need to think too much into it.
I can imagine lots of different examples, particularly of older people who share amazing stories from the past. From my perspective, they would theoretically be uninteresting. THere’s no hate of course, to anyone who fits into this category. In fact, it has energetic value since it’s retelling a story, which can be relevant for the collective right now. But to be honest, it’s up to the recipient who is already at an energetically evolved level to be able to dissect it and place its relevance. One may argue that to maintain relevance, one must do the work to bridge energetic gaps.
We can still retain the information, knowledge and even energetic resonance of the past to inform our future, but the key is to continue to evolve. To me at least, that’s what’s incredibly interesting.
To sum up, if want to always remain in and of interest, ensure that you’re doing the work to remain energetically relevant, and energetically connected.
