163. Why You Attract Bad Things When You Start To Get Better
I have to imagine that everyone’s experiencing a similar scenario:
You’ve taken the leap, the plunge, or even the risk to start improving yourself. You’re feeling good. You’re making small, or even large strides. But then tragedy strikes. You start to realize that you’re being pushed to the ground (metaphorically). Or maybe even kicked. Why? Haven’t you “shown” the universe that you’re committed? Why wouldn’t this happen earlier, in order to motivate you? Well, unfortunately the universe doesn’t always work on your behalf without you asking, but there’s also another reason why.
Let’s imagine that all of our “problems” or negative energy that we’ve been harboring, whether that be negative past experiences, trauma, negative thoughts from ourselves or others are like little “orbs” which inhabit our body. Since our bodies are an amalgamation of parts, some are good or bad. And even if we don’t want to perceive good or bad, we could consider them aligned or not aligned.
For the most part, we tend to reject and repress these energetic orbs. After all, we don’t really want them at the center of our attention. We’re often times unwilling to go back to these painful memories, so they’re just sort of stored in our energetic bodies. And while we may not be consciously aware of them, we are often times subconsciously aware of them. On top of that, they sort of act like “prisms” in which we see the world. For example, if we had a negative experience where our safety was threatened, it’s likely that we may view the world as a safety threat. And this can go on and on with multiple different experiences, concepts and themes.
Say we have come to the conclusion or the awareness that we do have issues surrounding safety, for example. Maybe we realize it’s time to transmute this old, negative or stagnant pain. We proactively face our fears and work to add in new experiences which are more positive, or allow us to have a more positive relationship with safety. Perhaps we are looking for things which are outside of our comfort zone which will make us feel more safe. So what happens?
We ultimately access this or these negative energetic orbs. They’re no longer repressed, and they’re at the forefront of our thoughts. Therefore, it may be all that we think about, or all that we’re doing. It may be so front and center that it’s what we’re attracting through law of attraction. More importantly, it’s unstable energy, which means that through its nature, it tends to cause lots of anxiety and chaos. If this negative energy happens to be attached to other areas and aspects of our lives, it has the potential to “disrupt” many things, so that we become more aware of its “web”, and are able to resolve anything it’s also attached to that we were not previously aware of. It ultimately causes a ripple effect, and a ripple effect which is of high awareness and priority. As a result, the process of healing can be quite turbulent. And at times, unintentionally, it could potentially cause pain and chaos.
This is why it’s so important to have the end goal on the top of your mind. How can you override this temporary pain? What are you truly looking to achieve? I think that going into a healing scenario acknowledging that it may be a bit of hard work can help eliminate a bit of suffering from this process. Unfortunately, pain is hardly ever linear, and its effects can be quite pervasive.
