381. The Problem With Standard Intuition Tests
I’m sure that at least once, particularly if you’re interested in spirituality, an “intuition test”.
To be honest, I got them all the time in-person when I was practicing my own craft and skill. It was one of the things I was weakest on. We would call it psychometry, or the art of reading items. Perhaps it was the intense pressure I put on myself, but my true feelings never quite “read” the object correctly, or at least from my perception value.
Many times when you come across intuition tests, it’s asking you to reveal what a hidden object is, or something of the sort. Essentially, it’s “unknown” what something is, and your intuition must tell you what it is. But here’s the inherent issue here.
Although you can have a clear path to communication with something or someone that could tell you what this is, or have timeline perception which would know what the item or object is, objects do not inherently have their own energy.
It’s particularly easy to read conscious energy, as it has an energetic signature. But items or inanimate objects simply pick up the energies of whoever used them or crafted them, or perhaps even energies of those around them. They are like these “sponges” without their own identity. So it’s somewhat odd that we use them for intuition tests, as they don’t carry a particularly unique energetic signature. Much easier, you’d likely be able to tell the distinct personality or characteristics from a person unseen, so long as you can connect in real-time with their energy.
With confidence in my intuition, as I did psychometry I would pick up on the oddest, most strangest things. I did truly feel it was right, but as owners of items, we don’t truly know their story, or precisely who or what is interacting with it, when we’re not. There’s so much ‘Unknown”, and it’s likely that the energy it’s radiating isn’t quite strong enough to give a proper signature.
I will say this… this is totally my own unique perception value. I know lots of gifted psychics and mediums who use objects in order to bridge the gap. But I admit… I have no idea how or why. I find it to be the weakest energetic link to the other side. But again… that’s just me.
While it’s true that fore example, a passed loved one’s item can have a strong imprint of them, there’s just so much information to be told there, and so much energy to be known. I still find it incredibly challenging or difficult to discern what an item is, versus who owned it.
The reason I created this article was not to complain, but it’s to take the stress and pressure off of standard intuition tests. I learned practically nothing from standard intuition tests, and only things from working with real/true clients. After all, they provide the most feedback. And there’s inherent/intrinsic value with working with people, rather than validating what is or isn’t. Focus on uncovering what is unknown and the truth, rather than hoping your intuitive guess is correct. Just be sure to look beyond these intuition tests to validate your truth. Don’t feel that just because you aren’t good at them, means your intuition is bad. Otherwise I would be totally useless, and I certainly know that’s not true.
