437. The Science Of Suffering

For clarity, I’m not the expert on science, but this is speaking more so about the “formulation” of suffering, from a metaphysical perspective.

I often times talk about pain and suffering being friends, yet simultaneously, mortal enemies.

In a way, pain and discomfort is a part of life. We often times need to experience a level of pain in order to understand what comes out of pain, or what the other side of pain is. Kind of like good and bad or happy/unhappy dichotomy. I often say that this is… almost a requirement throughout our lifetimes. I do believe that as we begin to intellectualize our discomfort, which leads to pain in some way shape or form, we can certainly avoid pain, but often times that does not happen, because we are initially blocked from our higher self or intuition. Accessing our intuition is at times, part of our journey here. Kind of like how we have a limited or matrixed perception value existing as a human here on earth. We don’t know what goes on, truly, on the other side.

So if pain is somewhat of a requirement, and as I describe it, a heightened sensation of discomfort, what is suffering and why does it happen? Suffering is really the byproduct of rejecting or neglecting this pain. When we speak about suffering, typically it’s in a time-lapsed sense. In other words, it takes multiple experiences, multiple timelines, and multiple energies, likely, to qualify for “suffering”. This is of course, ironically a good thing, as we can know and understand why and how pain is taking place, and avoid suffering altogether. But there are a few asterisks here. In this sense of denial, avoidance or perhaps even helplessness and loss of control, there can be a huge struggle with managing suffering. But something even more bizarre can happen.

There are, at times, when people do not know they are suffering. How is this possible? Parts, if not all, of their energetic body have been suffering for multiple months, years or even a lifetime. Meaning that their baseline of vibration and existence is suffering. If we do not have experiences with a different perception value, it’s extremely challenging to see, understand and process life from a different perception value. I often times credit movies and TV for helping us evolve as a species to see a new “vision”. But besides opening yourself up to new options, opportunities and experiences, you don’t HAVE to experience a new perception value. You can’t just feel something foreign to you as easy as you can see something new by watching the news. Spirituality and our mental/emotional aspects are so ingrained and personal to us, it can be incredibly difficult to have an ego break, a shift in identity, beliefs, and so on and so forth.

The science of suffering is… many things. But mainly, it’s the perpetuation and amalgamation of pain. And unfortunately in some cases, it can go unnoticed. You may look back at points in your life thinking you were doing just fine, perhaps even happy, but you were silently (or loudly) suffering. The best advice I can give to others, and common advice I give to clients is to take a risk. Know that there can be improvements, vibrationally. Even if you aren’t suffering, you may at the lightest be in discomfort. Set intentions and affirmations addressing this directly. Ask your spirit guides for help. Assume that you are uncomfortable and are in pain, and perhaps even suffering. What do you have to lose by going on the path of improvement? I find that those who are extremely fearful or against this, typically are harboring a lot of repressed negative energy. Even if your case isn’t extreme, releasing discomfort ensures that it does not grow and become a behemoth. It’s so much more challenging to deal with a big issue, than a small one.
