436. We’re Not Coded To Survive. We’re Coded To Evolve.
I have often referenced that we, as people, are coded to survive. In other words, our DNA has made us adaptable to our environment in a way that we want to be here. We need to be here. We must retain our human or energetic bodies for as long as possible. This is of course why we continue to live without taking our lives, why we breathe, why we do what fulfills us, and more. It may also explain some logical fears that we have such as snakes, heights and more.
But as time goes on, I do wonder if this is somewhat of a misleading statement. Are we coded to survive? Because inherently, this somewhat goes against metaphysics. There’s no value there’s no intention. Why just survive? The important thing to recognize here is that there is no purpose in the repetition of survival. We keep coming back here, and why? To do the same thing over and over again exactly the same? I think not.
It’s important that we understand what “survival” means. While of course from a physical perspective, we are “surviving” on this planet, as we are alive, survival is essentially the bare minimum of existence. Often times you hear survival paired with “thriving” as the two are quite different. Survival is essentially retaining your energy throughout the hands of time. Again, not metaphysically valuable. On top of it not being valuable, it’s truly degenerative. In other words, pure survival loses inertia, emphasis, value, etc. When you’re simply “surviving” through life and not thriving, you may find that mentally, physically emotionally and spiritually, you can be suffering. That or completely disconnected to your subconscious or higher self.
While it’s true that our DNA likely includes elements which allow us to survive under certain conditions, the entirety of our being isn’t coded to survive, it’s encoded or anticipated to thrive. If you ask anyone, the value of being on earth is happiness, success, abundance, and more. There’s no anticipation that someone will simply “survive” and that will be enough. It’s important to also recognize our evolving landscape. Geographically, human-race wise, and technology-wise. We are evolving at a rapid speed. Why? Likely because we’re coded to do so. If we do not, as people, evolve, we will not keep up with the other elements of the collective and universal energy which are evolving. Even from a physics perspective, realistically, nothing remains the same. Because it can’t. Whenever you have life, energy or movement, nothing actually, physically remains the same. It’s always moving. Now, if we simply existed in a matrixed reality where it’s just consciousness-less elements like fabrics, steel, plastic and more, sure… we would simply exist only in a moment in time, and there would be no need to evolve. But simply because there would be… nothing.
While it’s true that it’s our duty to keep “surviving” the way that we do that… is evolving. We are intended to be adaptable, capable beings. Not to remain in the same state or space. After all, as the universe continues to evolve and expand, we have no choice but to evolve and expand with it. And if the universe is coded to evolve, and we are modeled after it, there’s truly only one potential path or answer, for that matter.
Why the the “why” of evolution may be more of a philosophical question, the effects of evolution are clear and present. There’s no doubt that evolution is ingrained in us, ingrained in the universe, and a necessary component of time continuing to move forward.
With this said, ask yourself… what aspects/elements of myself are stagnant? What is not evolving? While the collective and the earth and universe continues to move on, what parts or elements of that are you resisting? If it’s in your “nature” or best interest to evolve, consider how you can double down on these ideas and practices.
