444. Why Do We Move, Shake, Etc. When Releasing Energy?

You’re probably thinking… this is a bit of an odd topic. It is. It actually was spawned after a friend showed me a couple of Reiki videos where clients were practically seizing and moving during the energetic release process. This got me interested in the topic as a whole, particularly as someone who was now a self-proclaimed expert at releasing energy. Was this all for drama? Was there something more powerful when letting your body “go” and move during this process? Perhaps two things can be true at once.

If we think of all the ways that we release energy… talking, moving, even screaming or crying. All of these acts are “movement” of some kind. In particular, I tend to get caught up with crying, as there’s this sense of breath work and almost… at times… hyperventilation. There needs to be movement, a vibrational shift… in order for energy to release. But simultaneously, I think about Reiki. Does this need to come from within the person? Or am I simply doing it as a practitioner? Perhaps either or can take place.

In more bizarre means, I also tend to think about possessions, and I suppose that extreme “movement” that some clients seem to receive while during Reiki. Is this necessary? Is it important? Is it the case that the bigger/badder the energy, the more of a need for movement? Also somewhat reminds me of purging during Kambo, Ayahuasca, etc. Perhaps a larger “movement” is required for larger energies. If we think about it, we are inhabiting energies at the current moment. In order to “move it”, some type of movement must occur, no?

In particular, this process of hyperventilation, similar to child birth, allows us to understand an expansion and contraction technique. Even the blood being pumped through our veins is… expansion and contraction. From our breath to pulling, moving, walking, existing. Everything in our bodies, and in essence, around us is… expansion and contraction. This is of course… how stars die, how the universe aligns and continues to exist. Everything is expansion and contraction.

The entire world of expansion and contraction, as well as releasing energy is fascinating. While it may sound incredibly obvious to note that energy moves through movement, what can we learn from this? We need to have an open process for energy to move. If we’re constantly in a state of contraction, whether that’s tense muscles, or the subconscious desire to “keep it in”, we will never be a clear enough channel to release, or allow energies to flow through us. From previous channeling in terms of densities and dimensions, being an open channel is the way to receive advancement, enlightenment and evolution. It ensures that you are “one” with the universe.

Consider movement throughout multiple areas of your life. Is it physical movement that your body needs? Perhaps mental or emotional… even spiritual. How can you continue to “move” within the realm of your abilities/capabilities, but continuing to push yourself, as well? Keep in mind that through metaphysics, all parts of us are connected. so if you’re struggling moving on mentally, perhaps you can move your body physically to build up this momentum, and focus on a different area.

Since our bodies are moving all the time, perhaps it’s not necessary to over-think this process. But one thing is for sure. Big changes require big moves. Is a big change headed for your life? Perhaps it’s time to “move big”, so to speak.
