156. What Channeling Astrological Signs Taught Me
I think that much of the hangup of astrology is the disconnect with believing that our birth place and time indicates or even dictates our personalities as a whole. In particular, people believe that you must fall into 1 of 12 categories, also negating all of the rest of our astrological placements. To a degree, I get it. However as a whole, I do feel it’s a limited perspective, as there is so much more.
But how exactly does this work? From my perspective, rather than astrological encoding our DNA (which is also possible, it’s just not how I see it in particular), it’s more so a perception value which is ingrained and instilled in us. When we observe the world on our own terms, in other words, at birth, we are collecting not only astrological energy, but the perception value of those around us. This is essentially how we “see” the world. I feel that our behavior moving forward is more so a byproduct of our ancestry DNA, as well as the environment and experiences that we grow up with. After all, it is one singular moment.
So what is the impact here? Rather than feel we are beholden to a certain destiny, or required to fulfill certain astrological energy within our chart, we can turn our attention to perception value related matters only. In other words, you aren’t Taurus energy, you’re simply channeling Taurus energy at a given time for a given area or aspect of your life. It can be challenging to look outside this perception value, but not for some. And not always. In this way, we can release ourself from the burden or stamp of an astrological energy or sign, and find more freedom. Not only can we find more freedom, but we can start to deduce our own unique perception value in order to have more connection and empathy with others. That is truly my biggest takeaway from channeling the perception value of others. It’s so incredibly different.
So does this mean we can slip in and out of astrological consciousnesses? Not only yes, but since astrological energy is real and “a thing”, we can really channel any and all astrological energies that we would like, at any given moment. For example, if you’re having trouble getting something done, you could channel in Capricorn energy to help ground you.
One of the most important points I have about astrological energy is validation of its existence. There’s been a lot of arguments over time that certain dates are skewed, certain signs are misinformed, etc. While it’s likely that what we know about the signs isn’t perfect, and primarily varies from person to person, I urge people to consider that astrological energy is right and real, because we believe it’s right and real. Kind of like how we determine what’s real, and our own destinies. If we feel it’s real, then it is real, because multiple people believe in it. That’s the power of intention setting and manifestation. Things aren’t just real because they are shown to us in a physical reality. If we are beholden to astrological energy, that means it has impact on four information, knowledge and behavior. So how could one say it’s not real? Perhaps it’s time we shift focus on what’s real. If we don’t acknowledge that things which aren’t “real” are, we will be eliminating our grasp on some of the most important abstract energies that exist, and can shape our world, or worse, become a detriment to us.
Anyway, I find that astrological energies are quite flexible, and again, “real” to the collective. Going back to my previous point, many people get caught up on the nuances of information and knowledge related to signs. But the truth is, since astrological energy is a larger part of our consciousness, it evolves with us. It’s a constant game of co-creation. Regardless of how we classify them, we need different cycles of energy to help inspire and motivate us. If they were all the same, we would be stuck and stagnant as a consciousness. Different periods need to move to keep moving us forward. Kind of like the shift of our globe, and the moon and the tides. Everything moves in cycles, and it needs to. Perhaps astrological energy is more grounded in nature than we think.
Consider how you can use astrological energy to your advantage moving forward. After all, it is ours for the taking.
