181. Fake What You See
Your only detriment is the feeling of doubt. For to doubt is like looking in the mirror and seeing nothing, when you’re so clearly there. I guess that’s why the phrase “you are what you see” is technically true. But if it is true, and you see what you can’t to see, what’s stopping you from seeing the truth? And what’s stopping you form seeing the truth that doesn’t exist yet? Nothing. A fantasy is just an illusion that doesn’t exist yet.
Every so often I’ll be in a conversation where they physically see something which isn’t there. Perhaps it’s an optical illusion, or they think they thought something. Initially, their eyes light up because they’re excited to “see” what they want to see. But then, it slowly turns into disappointment when it isn’t “real”. While it’s a seemingly innocuous conversation, is it? During that time, they were in complete alignment with their environment, and what they wanted to see. They were happy, and their vibration was high. They felt true joy. So if that’s the case, why are we not faking what we “see” all the time?
This sort of ladders back to concepts of “The Secret” and how we can warp and shape our reality. If we are so ingrained in what is currently our physical reality, it’s likely that we may feel hopeless or tired upon changing it. Perhaps in some way shape or form, we are required to shift or change our perception value to make true progress. And even if it’s not in a physical sense, perhaps a mental or emotional one.
The most helpful tool I have is to “reframe” situations. Tired of work? Reframe your perspective. Tired of doing chores/ Reframe your perspective. Whatever current negative narrative you have in your mind, change it. Make it more positive. Will it completely solve everything? Probably not. Will it stick? Also, probably not. It’s likely that you may need to perpetually repeat it over and over again. But will reframing your perspective work? In my opinion, absolutely. By finding the magic or happiness in moments of your life which are negative, you can start to truly change your reality. If the majority of your day you’re unhappy (such as during work), I do feel there’s a need to shift in order to get yourself out of said “rut” or negative vibration. Otherwise, what’s motivating you to start again? Yes, it’s true that pain, suffering and agony can be catalysts for change, but what truly keeps you going, if you’re lacking energy, insight and motivation?
When we “fake what we see” or shift the vision or frame of our life, we manifest and co-create our reality. There’s nothing stopping you from looking in the mirror and believing that you’re the best person on earth. That you are god-like. That you are completely unstoppable. What’s the harm in trying?
