317. The Significance Of Both Parts Of Your Body
Something which has been particularly prevalent in my life is the significance of both “parts” of my body. Now, you may consider this to be up and down, but I actually consider it to be left and right. The oddness of this is that we are “reflected” on both sides of ourselves from left to right. Certainly, it’s not identical, but ideally, we want this harmonious balance. When one “side” of our body is in pain or discomfort, it may have more of a spiritual significance than you think.
I’ve talked before about both sides of the body and their attachment to divine energies, but as a refresh: I typically perceive that the left side of one’s body is more so the divine “feminine” side. The right is the divine “masculine” side. I find that this is somewhat common in terms of how readers channel, but it’s not always the case. I’ve certainly seen readers say that your left side is masculine and right side is feminine. I don’t personally feel that it matters, so long as you can perceive or understand the “point”.
So why is this the case? Why would left be feminine and right be masculine? Well, as we just talked about they can be swapped, but there’s an inherent duality to our bodies and our experience here on earth. Since we inhabit both of these energies, it only makes sense that we have them in reflecting parts of our entire energetic bodies. It’s likely that these energies even span outward, such as our aura. We are intended to work with both energies in this lifetime, although they may “live” in other areas. Certainly there aren’t energies constricted to certain areas, unless we put them there, as in the case with inhabiting old, negative or stagnant energies.
When I read clients with pain in their bodies, I do a couple of different things, starting with acknowledging which chakra it’s close to. But the other important part is knowing which side of the body it’s on, and what exactly the pain of discomfort is. Is it a cut? Meaning that energy had nowhere to go, and needed to potentially escape or be re-routed? Is it some type of internal hemorrhage? Which would be a similar situation. Is it stiffness? Is it two parts not coming together, or something broken? Meaning a misalignment of energy? Whatever the exact problem is, it’s likely some type of a concept or theme. I’ll get into more details about the different “types” of pains and problems and what they mean from an energetic perspective in the future, but there are some notes floating around my posts.
So what is the significance of having a pain or a problem with a particular side of your body? It all comes down to the concepts and themes, and the alignment with which side it’s becoming a problem with. But here’s unfortunately the tricky part. Sometimes you may be feeling a certain issue on one side, but it’s actually because you’re overcompensating for another side. So just because you have a pain on your left side, doesn’t mean it is originating from the left side. It’s important to clue in more specifically. You can do this through intention setting, meditation, asking for signs/being open to signs, etc. You can also do a practice where you can “read’ your body by laying down (if you can) and going into a lucid state or meditation where you “feel” or ask questions about different places of your body. I actually do this myself. I go to where I feel like my mind is leading me to, and I will ask what the particular energy is. If it’s positive, negative, what it’s doing, etc. I have found that this is a particularly effective way of starting the release of negative energy process within my body.
I think the challenge here is the understanding of the importance of these energies. I mean… what is the point if you have a pain on one side, besides classifying it or categorizing it? I find it’s helpful to move forward with this information, because it is somewhat of a prism that you can look through on your healing journey. If you are having trouble with the left side of your body, your spiritual side or your mental/emotional self needs some work. And if you’re struggling with the right, your “physical” self needs some work. And remember, you can always consider where it is on your body chakra-wise. Additionally, I also consider whether it’s top or bottom. In my opinion, the top part of your body is more aligned to divine feminine, because it’s more of the “abstract” chakras, and likewise with the bottom. And perhaps in between is a bit of a combination of both.
Happy healing!
