412. The Challenge In Channeling Lost Pets
A lost pet is without a doubt one of a pet parent’s worst nightmares. Not only are you spontaneously disconnected physically from your pet, but the idea of not knowing somehow is more excruciating. As a pet parent, we feel incredibly responsible for our pet’s well-being, and them being out of our house and out of our hands can be a situation of extreme guilt, shame and blame. Particularly if we, even unintentionally, had something to do with their departure.
As a channeler, I have not only on occasion read lost pets, but I’ve sen many readers offer these services. The intention is certainly to provide insight and clarity regarding this situation, at hopes of reuniting this pet with their parent. As I’ve channeled, I’ve realized how tricky this situation is morally for a couple of reasons.
The ethics behind meddling with disconnection. Lost pets are not the only requests I get. I get lost people, lost items, and more. The concept of “lost” is an interesting one, as we can equate it to some kind of a disconnect. Disconnections, in some way shape or form, are either interventions from the universe, or between both energies’ subconscious, a temporary contract to disconnect from each other. It can be challenging to consider the fact that a lost pet can be intentional or that you would ever agree to such a thing, but our subconscious’ or our higher selves are often times “pulling the strings” with many aspects and elements of our lives. In particular, a lost pet situation would likely provide pet and human with much needed learning lessons in this lifetime. This may have even been a soul contract in which both of you agreed to before incarnating here. As a result, fighting against clients’ subconscious or the universe as a whole in any way, would be unwise. But I’ll get more into that shortly.
The morality of pets as conscious beings. If, for whatever reason, a pet needed to become lost, again, for whatever learning lesson, they are still a conscious entity, meaning that they, for a period of time, are intending to remain lost. We often times see pets as unintelligent creatures, but in all reality, their connection to energies and their senses allow them to do incredible things. Could and would a pet find their way home if they wanted or needed to? The answer is likely yes. This isn’t to say they always make healthy, rational or sane decisions. Especially ones we would or wouldn’t make, but they are guided for the most part by animal instinct. And that instinct is certainly leading them somewhere.
Psychic information as urgency. As a channeler, there’s a fine line between reading someone urgently and/or not. I personally believe that channeling ability, or at least my channeling ability, is not something that should be urgent. Of course urgency can be a couple of weeks time, but if there’s ever an emergency need for information, it’s likely something an individual reader should not provide, as in some way shape or form, it will likely be clashing with free will and consent. Myself as a person and my ability to channel should not be the “answer” to someone’s need for help It’s important for a client to have their own sense of intuition and ability to tap into the other side or their spirit guides’ in order to get them through a temporary and/or difficult situation. This is of course, my personal belief, as it strengthens everyone’s own abilities, and perhaps even character.
No answer is ever right. If I were to tell a client that their pet is dead and to stop looking for them, due to the fact that they are likely hinging on my answer, they may flat out stop looking for their pet. I find that this is absolutely not what should happen, as it would likely interrupt or affect the flow of that person’s previous free will. All psychic information should be thought provoking and supplemental, not a yes or no which would change the trajectory or direction of someone’s life or decisions. If I were to tell a client that their pet was in a certain location, by the time that information reaches them, the information is likely somewhat null and void, as animals move constantly and consistently. The only answer I sometimes give is that clients should retain a sense of hope, if I feel they should, as this likely is aligned to their behavior, thoughts and actions which already exist.
The difficulty in discerning yes or no. I personally never feel comfortable discerning yes or no, because the world and life is so incredibly complex, it’s almost impossible to say. There are pets who have been brought back to life. There are pets whom feel dead to me, but are alive, as since I can channel both higher selves and passed energies, they both feel “alive” to me. There should never be a yes or no guarantee from any psychic or channeler, in my opinion. It’s irresponsible, and again, interrupts free will, particularly for clients who hinge on an answer, or are intending on basing their future behavior on said answer.
Ethics in general. If channelers or psychics have absolutely no boundaries or ethics with channeling, the limit does not exist. There are no rules and no focus. I suppose, in a way, the whole idea of spirituality is that there aren’t boundaries, because energy does not have, but we coexist within a physical reality, where we do indeed need to have. I cannot prioritize any given single moment, I need to prioritize the structure of my information, how I perceive it, review it and implement it. Otherwise, my future will be making decisions which will inevitably and accidentally hurt clients. If I as a channeler lean into this, I’ll have less credibility, a tainted reputation, and I’ll be going against the entire point of my practice.
For clarity, I not only sympathize with clients, but I can truly empathize reading their pain. As a channeler, my ability to help is not only minimal, but in terms of closure, almost impossible, as that comes from within. I strongly suggest a combination of intention setting and affirming that you will be physically reconnected with your pet in this lifetime. I would recommend affirming this every day, in the mirror, looking into your eyes and “feeling” the result. Intention set, journal and do everything that you can. This is behind a physical perspective, but it’s a metaphysical one. Intention setting and affirming is, in my opinion, the best and quite frankly, easiest way to receive a result. As a channeler, I have no energetic power over this situation, meaning that if you want to see true and honest results, for several reasons, fate is primarily in your hands. Rather than focusing 100% on the receipt of this pet, ask your spirit guides for signs as to why this happened? Ask to understand and feel. If there’s a learning lesson that you need to achieve of accomplish, and you’re not addressing it, the time that you’re spending away from your pet may be lengthened. But until you know, you don’t know. Have faith, hope and optimism that they are out there and the two of you will be reconnected. This in particular, is critical. When you reject/repress or dismiss this idea, you’re likely going to put up walls and boundaries. Although this is likely uncommon, particularly when you are actively trying to find your pet, through pain and hurt, it can happen. Through these examples of metaphysical interjection, I strongly feel that you will be able to enhance your success at reconnection, and otherwise, begin to heal and confirm a sense of closure. It’s one of the most difficult situations not just a pet parent, but a person can go through. I truly am sorry for anyone going through this experience, and am wishing them the best of luck, good vibes, and the opportunity to resolve these lessons or circumstances quickly, so there can be a safe and quick reconnection.
