50. Anxiety & Energy

Personally, I find the relationship between anxiety and energy incredibly strong. From a spiritual perspective, I feel that anxiety is simply energy (such as thought, feeling or emotion) which is “unresolved”. Essentially, we are hit with some type of an impression. Perhaps it is our subconscious, but I do feel that often times it’s from external sources. Generally, I feel that those who suffer from anxiety, as a result, are empathic or psychic in some way. I mean, they kind of have to be. If you are physicalizing thought, feeling or emotion, you’re transmuting it. Theoretically, you have the ability to transmute it backwards, as well.

It brings up an interesting point. If you can physicalize thought, feeling and emotion, why can’t you conceptualize physicality? Why is it always in the opposite way? Consider ways that you can put yourself in a better physical position in order to lift up your thoughts, feelings and emotions, and therefore raising your vibration overall.

Back to this energy itself, what I feel ultimately happens is that this information becomes “received” or acknowledged by our body. Once it’s inside our body, we have one of two choices. We can “harbor” it, or in other words, freak out and reject it or dismiss it (thus creating anxiety) or we can proactively transmute it. Physically, it’s important to relax and surrender to the anxiety so that you can let it pass through you. The more you constrict it and fight it, the more likely you are to have it negatively impact you. Consider that as you continue to hold on to these negative thoughts, feelings and emotions, you are unintentionally use it to your disadvantage in terms of law of attraction. Negativity simply attracts and therefore breeds negativity. It’s incredibly important to stop negative cycles as soon as they start.

The ultimate goal is to be a “clear” channel. Although you can’t always control which impressions you’re taking on (you can try to do your best to limit negative impressions by surrounding yourself by good people, places and things), you can control how you react to this energy and what you do with it.

Consider next time you have anxiety to not only allow yourself to feel this surrender, but to intellectualize what the point or purpose of you keeping it inside is? Is there a fear of acknowledging it and accepting it? Or perhaps fear of what would happen when it’s gone? Sometimes we ultimately get so used to feeling this anxiety, that it becomes comfortable and safe for us, and we ultimately keep going back to this particular feeling. Know that anxiety ends, and that by accepting it and allowing it to run through your body, does not mean you do not have control over it. In fat, it means you have more control. If it helps, simply state the impression that you wish to transmute this energy. When you don’t allow it to pass through, you ultimately are allowing it to have full control and run rampant throughout your body. This energy ultimately distorts not only your physical reality, but your thought process as well.

While I realize that these may only be slightly helpful for some, this is my best tip. By putting yourself in a high vibration during these times of anxiety, you can help allow yourself to feel more comfortable releasing it. When I’m super overwhelmed in the grocery store, what helps me the most is listening to stand up comedy. Comedy and laughter bring you to a place of joy, which is one of the highest vibrations in the universe. While in this mood or this space you are also in a different vibrational wavelength, making it more challenging for other energies to attach onto you and bring your own energy down. Laughing is a great form of releasing energy. I also notice that when I need to release energy, I’m often moving around and even coughing. I think that it’s different from anyone. Consider that these are all physical ways of releasing this energy, or in other words transmuting it. I feel this is often why things such as deep breaths can help us remove energy. We are allowing for a different medium or a conduit to transform this energy and release it outward.

On a conceptual level, whatever you are anxious about will likely be ultimately resolved when of course the anxious idea ultimately does not play out, but also when you proactively provide yourself with more positive experiences than negative experiences related to the concept, theme or source of the anxiety. For example, if you’re anxious about a test, the more tests you pass, the higher your vibration will be, and the more confident you will feel. While I understand this doesn’t do much for any given moment, consider any areas of your life which are a constant source of anxiety. How can you help raise your vibration in these areas?

The most important thing to remember is that energy is always moving. There is nothing that you need to be permanently plagued with, especially anxiety. While I am a strong supporter of professional services, I hope that perhaps there are some helpful tips and tricks in this post which you can use to your benefit. Remember that if you’re struggling, it’s important to reach out to a professional as well as like-minded communities to help. We are so different at the end of the day, that it’s likely that one solution is not a one size fits all.
