70. Why We Often Look Like Our Partner From A Metaphysical POV
If you’re familiar with some of my work, you’ll know that I focus a lot on reading photographs, as well as the implications and indications of physical traits. While our physical features often times remain relatively consistent over time, they do change and flow. On top of that, everyone looks at each other with a unique perception value. Some people find some people more attractive than others. Or how about when you feel someone’s personality and it makes them more attractive? Not only can our physical features change, but the way we present and express ourselves in relation to others’ perception values is also malleable.
So the question is, why do couples often times look like each other?
To me, I find there are two reasons for this.
First being that often times people are attracted to others who look like us. Obviously it’s not impossible, but I would reckon that many people have a “type”, or otherwise are around or even date similar looking people. However, this isn’t entirely supporting the point. Point is that our physical characteristics do describe our personalities (in my opinion). Certain physical traits dictate areas or aspects of your soul, spirit, character and more. This isn’t really anything new. There are lots of resources rooted in Eastern medicine which speak to this as well. I find that in particular, often times our physical characteristics speak to our soul and spirit. So why is this relevant? Often times we may have similar features to our “soul family”, or in other words people who incarnated with a similar purpose. On top of that, we often times share energetic signatures with our family from past lives. I find that our fractaled parts as well as past lives also have a strong say in our genetics and physical appearance. Often times you’ve lived several relevant past lives where you’re from a similar country of origin. Nevertheless, your soul’s journey is noted in your energetic body as well as your DNA. So similar looking people to you may have not only lived past lives with you, but have had very similar energetic experiences to you. This offers some type of a kinship or recognition or even relevancy. often times we are attracted to these types of people because of this. Now this isn’t to say that we’re only attracted to people who look like us, as you may live a life where you’re actually trying to seek out people who are different from you. But I think that this longing and familial sense is a strong ones for humans who are incarnated on earth. While we can absolutely learn from them, from my perspective this connection is solely based on a feeling of home or a feeling of remembrance. Or perhaps even a feeling of shared purpose. While not only are our physical appearances so incredibly unique, so are our energetic bodies. It’s sort of impossible to deduce this down into any type of grid-work or framework. In some instances, you just look someone in the eyes and just “know” them. So I think that there is some give and take.
Second being that our physical appearances do change over time, as well as peoples’ perception of them. If we ultimately end up spending a lot of time with our significant other, it’s likely that our energetic bodies change slightly to match or compliment each other. While I’m not saying that our entire DNA is going to change and that our physical features will actually warp, note that people see what they want to see. Perhaps there are new, stunning features of your face.
All in all, our physical appearance is highly connected to our spiritual bodies as well as working in tandem with our mental and emotional state. If you want to ultimately change your appearance, consider aligning more closely to your spiritual self as well as raising the vibration of your mental and emotional state. If you think about it, every part of the face has a slightly different purpose or meaning. Since the eyes are the window to the soul, what does your soul say? Or what are you doing to foster the physical connection you have with your soul?
Of course physically taking care ourselves will likely be the most prominent and/or quickest result, but our energies shift peoples’ perception values. You can always work on what you want people to “see”.
This is also now a great time to note that we are all beautiful inside and out and there’s no need to change your physical appearance or really anything about yourself, this is just a really interesting topic which ladders back up to energy :).
