80. Empathing Pain

It seems like one of the most shocking things about being a psychic or a medium is the ability to “feel” pain. I think that people can sort of comprehend the concept of mental and emotional “reading”, as it’s already an abstract, non-physical concept. But how is it possible that people can empath pain when it’s so “real”?

Well, let’s talk about what pain is. From an energetic perspective, it’s a “build-up” or a blockage of old, negative or stagnant energy. There’s a lot of nuances here, but that’s essentially the list of it. I also like to perceive pains as “warnings” as to release said energy. Since everything physical is simply a manifestation of a spiritual concept, it of course can be “read”.

So how does this work?

Say for example someone has a headache. Well, why would they have a headache? Perhaps they have an over abundance of thought which they are desperately holding into their head. This would cause stress and tension, and therefore a physical pain.

If I decided to empath someone’s energetic state, or in other words, “put myself in their shoes”, I would feel this physical manifestation of thought. I would be able to understand that there is a build-up or blockage of energy at a particular point.

There’s sort of two parts to this: One being that we all theoretically come from source energy, all from the same energy, so we can put ourselves in each others’ perception values whenever we’d like. We can never fully take on the consciousness of another person through laws of spirituality, but we can certainly see through their perception value. This is loosely how people can become “possessed” by spirits and entities. They share physical space with another energetic being.

The second part is that we can transmute energy any way we see fit, even within our own bodies. After all, our bodies are the ones doing all of this processing. So if I wanted to “feel” what a particular emotion is like, I could choose to feel it wherever it corresponds in my body, and at whatever threshold it manifests as. We are constantly cross-transmuting energy physically, mentally and emotionally.

It’s likely that you may empath someone’s pain if you are already strongly connected to them. We share energetic cords with those who we’re close to. As a result, we can often times “share” wins and losses. It’s no surprise that we share similar cords regarding our energetic bodies as well.

If every single “thing” has an energetic resonance, and I put my hand over someone’s body, this energy can transmute to me/my energetic receptors and manifest in the same way it does for this other person. Consider that every spiritual problem has a corresponding physical illness or ailment. Often times these are bound to different chakras, but pending our own personal energetic bodies, they can theoretically exist anywhere.

Another interesting facet is simply receiving information. If I need to understand what another client is going through and I get a message from my spirit guides, they can constrict energy in a certain area of my body as an indication that there’s a problem there. We’re all affected by energies, even if it’s not necessarily empathing someone’s pain directly. To be honest, I feel there are so many ways that this can happen, I’m sure I’m only covering part of the experiences and reasons.

When we start to understand that pain is simply a manifestation of something else, pain itself becomes much more of a looser concept. It’s not so silo’d and linear. Although it may be a bit scary sounding that it’s so abstract, it really provides so much option and opportunity for transmuting, ultimately.
